ROWENA, Ore. –Fire crews made great progress overnight on the Rowena Fire in the Columbia River Gorge. Authorities say everyone who had to evacuate can return home today. One of the year’s biggest events in The Dalles is still scheduled for this weekend.

John Kiser, with the Mid-Columbia Car Club, says the 20th annual “Cruise The Gorge” classic car show is set for Saturday at a city park in The Dalles.

Police Search For Missing Man In The Dalles

THE DALLES, Oregon – Police are searching for a man who hasn’t been seen for days.

23-year-old Travis Church was last seen at his home on Saturday night.  Church is an employee for The Dalles 911 dispatch center.

Police officials say he drives a blue 2010 Jeep Rubicon with tinted windows.  The vehicle has Oregon plates 300 DNR.
