PORTLAND, Ore. — A May Day march through downtown Portland on Friday resulted in confrontations with police.

The Don’t Shoot Portland group wound their way around downtown starting at around 4:30pm.  It wasn’t long before the group broke away from the planned route and started clogging up streets and disrupting MAX service.

Vancouver, Washington –  The keynote speaker at a Clark County Prayer Breakfast this morning has the Mayor of Vancouver staying away from the event. A dozen protestors are outside the HIlton Hotel in downtown Vancouver where the breakfast is taking place.
