GLADSTONE, Ore. — The 2nd Annual Grady Waxenfelter Memorial Poker Ride and Drive is set for Saturday morning.  The ride is not only for motorcycles but for classic and custom cars and trucks as well.  Grady was a motorcycle and car enthusiast as well as a devoted family man.

Food Cart Pods About to Spread to Beaverton

BEAVERTON, Ore. — The Beaverton City Council has paved the way for bringing food cart pods to town by amending their code.  It will no longer forbid food carts from remaining in place for more than 7 hours at a time and from gathering.

TVF&R crews  worked through the night in Sherwood to battle a fire on a train trestle that spread to the wetlands below. The fire near Tualatin-Sherwood Road and SW Langer Farms Parkway was reported  sometime after 4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.
