Worker Falls into 15′ Concrete Foundation Hole

Portland Fire and Rescue crews were called to a job site Monday after at 3127 SW Champlain after a construction worker was found unconscious at the bottom of a 15′ hole.  They’re still looking into how or why he fell, but he was down there alone.  Fortunately, they did not bury him in concrete.

The first of two scheduled public meetings to discuss three options for Mt Tabor was held Tuesday night at Warner Pacific College.  Portland City Commissioner Nick Fish and Amanda Fritz heard from citizens who chimed in on three options.

Reward in Waxenfelter Murder Case Now Up to $25,000

The Clackamas County Commissioners have increased the reward offered for information leading to the arrest of DIRCK MORGAN WHITE, 42, the prime suspect in the murder of Assistant Clackamas County Weighmaster Grady Waxenfelter, who was shot and killed on Feb. 6 while on duty.

The reward, which was $16,000, has been increased to $25,000.

Bomb Threat Locks Down Vancouver’s Heritage High School

A receptionist at Heritage High School fielded a bomb threat around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.  The school immediately went into lock-down.  The Clark County Sheriff says while they considered the credibility of the threat low, they wanted to follow protocol.

Parents were able to pick up their children around 4:00 pm after the school was cleared.
