Seattle, Wa–  The National Rifle Association filed suit today in King County Superior Court over adoption of the city’s new gun violence tax.

The tax, passed by the Seattle City Council, is $25 on each firearm sold in the city.  And five-cents per bullet on nearly every type of ammunition.

Convenience Store Robber Wanted By Police

PORTLAND — Police are asking for help to find a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint two weeks ago.  Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 for the tip that leads to an arrest.

The Plaid Pantry at Northeast 60th and Halsey was held-up just before 1:00 on the morning of February 21st by a black man in his 40’s.

Multnomah County Republicans To Raffle Off Gun, Honor Lincoln and MLK

The Multnomah County Republican Party will raffle off an AR-15 rifle as part of the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in February, saying it’s a way to “celebrate the legacy of two great Republicans who demonstrated leadership and courage that all of us still lean on today: Martin Luther King, Jr and Abraham Lincoln.”
