PORTLAND — A man was killed when fire ripped through a Southeast Portland apartment early Friday morning.  A mother and child in a neighboring apartment were among eleven people evacuated by the fire.

Clackamas, Oregon – Six vehicles have been burned at an industrial park in Clackamas. Fire crews say flames were shooting 50 feet into the air when they arrived at the complex at 117th and SE Jennifer.

VANCOUVER – An early morning fire at the Sun Point Apartment complex in East Vancouver has destroyed six units. People living in units nearby had to be evacuated after the fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. this morning.

Portland, Ore. — Portland Fire & Rescue crews stayed busy early this morning fighting several suspicious fires in North Portland’s Portsmouth neighborhood. Fire At Beaverton Middle School

BEAVERTON, Ore — Fire heavily damaged a portable classroom behind Highland Park Middle School on Tuesday morning.

The fire did not spread to the main building.  Crews with Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue had to work around a number of downed power lines.

Investigators are trying to determine how the fire started.  Classes went on as scheduled.
