Portland, Oregon – The latest in a string of cell phone store  burglaries ended with the arrest of a man this morning. A man entered the Verizon store at 99th and  SE Washington through a roof vent and triggered a silent alarm.

Top Prosecutor Is Also A Victim

Columbia County Prosecutor Steve Atchison and his wife are among dozens of victims whose houses have been hit by thieves since May.

The Portland Tribune reports the Atchison’s home was burglarized last Thursday. $12,000 in cash and property were stolen.

People who live in Columbia county are fighting-back. They’re posting pictures on Facebook of suspicious cars.

Burglars Attack 71-Year-Old Man

PORTLAND — Two men forced their way inside a home around 9:30 on Monday morning when the 71-year-old man who lives there answered a knock at the door.

Two Arrests In Fire That Nearly Destroyed Tavern

PORTLAND — Two men including an employee have been arrested for a fire that seriously damaged the historic Pal’s Shanty Tavern and restaurant on Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
