Portland Area Cougar Sightings Continue to Come in

Yet again, someone says they have seen a cougar in an urban area.  This time, one was spotted in SE Portland’s Mill Park neighborhood near Southeast 121st Avenue and Division.

Last week, two sightings were phoned in from Hillsboro.  There have been a number of others from different areas including SW Portland.

USGS Says Mt. St. Helens Magma Re-pressurizing

Federal scientists say magma levels inside Mount St. Helens are rising. A report issued Wednesday noted that super hot magma is percolating and several areas around the crater are moving away from the mountain.

22-year-old Haley Bellows is officially in remission. Her 11th day of being cancer free came Sunday at the Portland Trailblazer’s playoff game against the Houston Rockets.
