Drunk Driver Crashes Car Into Max Tunnel

PORTLAND — Police say a man was drunk when he crashed his car onto the Max tracks right as service was beginning Wednesday morning.

The mess caused a headache for riders headed to the west side as they had to get off and board a shuttle bus.

Roll-Over Crash Closes I-5 Downtown

PORTLAND — The northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in the heart of downtown were closed for nearly an hour early Wednesday afternoon after a roll-over crash between the Morrison and Burnside bridges.

One woman was reportedly rescued from the wreckage.  Traffic backed up for miles in all directions.  The crash was cleared by 2:00.

I-84 Eastbound Re-Opens Following Landslide

HOOD RIVER — Several large boulders crashed down onto Interstate 84 eastbound approaching Hood River on Wednesday night, burying a car in the debris.  The freeway was closed for several days so crews could clean-up several thousand cubic yards of rocks and debris that fell from a hill on the south side of the freeway.

Three Avoid Serious Injury In Beaverton Roll-Over

BEAVERTON — It’s amazing that everyone had just minor injuries when two trucks collided Thursday morning on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway at SW 99th.  One person was pinned inside the wreckage.

One Year Later: Driver Still Wanted in Deadly Hit & Run

BEAVERTON, Ore. — 18-year-old Harley Rocher was hit by a car and killed last January while walking from work to his girlfriend’s house.  Police have still not found the driver who left him for dead.

Rocher was walking along on Southwest Laurelwood Avenue around 8:00 on the evening of January 15th, 2013 when he was hit from behind.
