A television pastry chef has offered to bake a wedding cake for the lesbian couple who was turned down by a Gresham bakery.
Duff Goldman, star of the Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" says he'll make it for free and drive it all the way from Baltimore to Portland.
Laurel Bowman filed a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General's Office after Sweet Cakes By Melissa refused to take her order on religious grounds. She hasn't said yet if she'll take the offer.
