Oregon Legislature Gets Back to Work

The Oregon Legislature was called back into session today, and for the first time in two years, Democrats have the numbers advantage in Salem.
The 77th running has a more liberal House and a more conservative Senate. An even split before meant bipartisan support and controversial legislation having no chance of surviving.
Governor John Kitzhaber delivered his annual state of the state address to a joint session.
