Seattle May Day Arrests Spark Portland Vandalism

May Day protest in Seattle
A Northeast Portland bank was vandalized early this morning by anarchist sympathizers. Somebody used a rock to smash out front windows at the Wells Fargo on MLK near Jessup. An ATM was also damaged.
An e-mail to the media claims responsibility. They say it's in retaliation to a federal investigation of those who were arrested for rioting at last year's May Day protests in Seattle, and in support of three anarchist members who are refusing to cooperate with a grand jury. They're being held on federal detention in Washington.
This is the second time in seven months that this branch has been vandalized.
