Jason Cole NFL writer for Yahoo Sports joins The Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the most recent events in the NFL. With the NFL getting close to the play-offs Cole give us the run down on who will be making a run for the Super Bowl.

As Atlanta holds the top spot for the NFC and Houston holding it for the AFC; Cole does not know if those teams will keep up the pace through the playoffs. Cole could see the Giants spear heading again and making a furious run for the Super Bowl like they have the last couple years.

“You know people get a little bit fooled by what the Giants have done or what they did last year, but they’ve actually done it now twice in five years because of the way the team is built. So it’s kind of a unique situation, I don’t see another team right now making a run for the super bowl”.

With Chip Kelly coming to the end of his contract many are still wondering what team in the NFL would be a good fit for his play style. Cole believes that the Philadelphia Eagles are a great fit when it comes to their personnel.

“If you’re looking at a team that has a quick running back, who can start and stop and do the things that Kelly asks for and same for the receivers. Even a quarterback like Michael Vick who can run his offense, to me there’s no question it’s the Eagles”.

Both NFL conferences have their top five teams battling it out for the Super Bowl, but as Cole seems to think it is anyone’s game in the playoffs. We will see some major upsets this year as the championships for the NFC and AFC gets closer and closer.
