Saturday is the beginning of the 58th annual Christmas Ship Parade season.  Doug Romjue is the Columbia River fleet captain.  He says 50 boats are participating this year.  Volunteer boaters decorate their vessels with Christmas lights and sail the Columbia and Willamette rivers almost nightly.  The ships are in a different place every night so it is important to check the schedule.
