Oegon 2nd district Congressman Greg Walden
Oregon 2nd District Congressman Greg Walden has been chosen to be the new Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.  Walden was elected to the position by a unanimous vote.

He has spent nearly four years as the Deputy to current Chairman Pete Sessions.  Walden will retain his role as Chairman of the House Subcommittee that oversees communications and technology policy. 

The main responsibility for Walden once he takes over in January will be to get more Republicans elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.
