Fuel Tanker Crashes Shutting Down Freeway

I-205 southbound near the Airport Way exit was closed to start the morning rush hour after a tanker truck crashed and flipped across the lanes near Airport Way.

The truck was carrying 1,500 gallons of fuel, both gas and diesel.  Some of it leaked, but the tanks were not damaged.  The driver was not hurt.

Crews worked in the pouring rain to right the overturned rig, while traffic backed up to Vancouver.
