With the Major League Baseball postseason in full swing getting insight from a former World Series Champion and All-Star is a must. Former MLB All-Star and 6-time World Series Champion Gene Tenace joined the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to shed light on postseason success.
Tenace talks with John about achieving longevity as an athlete and then making the transition from player to coach.

"They work with pitchers on a regular basis, and I think good managers and you look at all your great managers they handle pitching staffs extremely well and I think that's one reason why catchers make good managers because they know how to handle pitchers." Tenace said of who make the best MLB managers.

Tenace talks about moving off the field as a player and into the dugout in a coaching role in the second half of his baseball career.

"There's something not right here because I'm seeing guys smaller than me hitting balls zappo and I'm going wow I had some pretty good power I thought, this guy can't be stronger than me and he's hitting balls like a left handed pull hitter" Tenace comments on seeing the beginning of the steroid era.

Tenace and John go on to talk about Tenace's career with the A's and the magical roster that included Reggie Jackson and Sal Bando.
