Comedian Joan Rivers Dead at 81

Joan Rivers, the raucous, acid-tongued comedian who crashed the male-dominated realm of late-night talk shows and turned Hollywood red carpets into danger zones for badly dressed celebrities, died Thursday. She was 81.

Salem, Oregon – Classic TV cowboy James Drury is making an appearance at the Oregon State Fair through Monday signing autographs. Fair spokeswoman Amber Lindsey says Drury grew up in Salem and is coming back to his roots. His appearance helps celebrate his 80th birthday.
