SALEM, Ore. — Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum filed a civil complaint in Marion County Circuit Court today against Oracle and a number of its top executives. She accuses the company of defrauding Oregonians by failing to provide a health exchange website that works.
She wants to recover the state’s and Cover Oregon’s financial losses. She also wants penalties for the damages caused by the company’s broken promises. The 126 page complaint accuses Oracle of shoddy work.
“Today’s lawsuit clearly explains how egregiously Oracle has disserved Oregonians and our state agencies,” said Rosenblum.
Oracle filed suit against the state two weeks ago claiming the state owes it 23 million dollars.
