Portland, Ore. — The search is on for man wanted of stabbing 29-year-old Nicole Laube to death Tuesday evening.
Authorities say the search has been narrowed down to one man. SGT Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriffs Office says that the woman works at the Commons at Timber Creek where the incident happened. A witnesses says she was showing the man a unit when he stabbed her several times, however the Washington County Sheriff s Office says they don’t think that’s the case.
Needles to say, neighbors are on edge.
The same witness says the woman crawled to another unit to ask for help. Emergency crews tried to save her life, but were unsuccessful, and the woman died outside. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue says LifeFlight was called, but was canceled while in route.
