California Idea May Come North

Some high end restaurants in San Francisco are having their customers pay in advance for  meals when they make their online reservations.

Bill Perry, with the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association, says whether it happens here is a question of, “whether or not you can get away with it.”

According to Perry, certain types of restaurants might consider requiring pre-pay, such as those that are flooded with reservations and have an unacceptable number of no shows.
