Tri Met began a week-long construction project at Northeast 11th and Holladay near the LLoyd Center.

Deputy General manager Bob Nelson apologized to Max riders for delays that were longer than expected Monday morning. Crews were tearing up the tracks to replace old switches at the intersection while Tri Met was working to streamline the train and shuttle service designed to get through the project.

One rider told KXL he stayed on the train when it arrived at the platform, not realizing that it would reverse direction and take him back where he came from. Shuttles are on hand to ferry passengers to all points West of Lloyd Center.
