Portland, Ore. — Students at the most selective college in Oregon say their professors are the best around and the Princeton Review listened.
After talking to thousands of students around the country the survey says the professors at Reed College rate number one… in the eyes of their students. Physics professor Mary James says the schools focus is on intellectual engagement between the student and their teachers.
“I think at Reed College first and foremost its about the classroom experience and all the things go with the classroom experience. It would be the wrong place to come if your hearts desire is to root for a football team for four years”, James says.
The classroom experience at Reed also ranked in at number three. It may not be the “traditional” college experience but the students at Reed College seem to love it.
