Portland, Oregon – An ex worker thinks she was fired by the Portland Rescue Mission because of her sex life and now she’s going to court. She told a co worker she and her boyfriend were thinking about having kids and getting married. When she was fired, Karina Layman says her supervisor told her it was because she thought Layman was “planning to have children and because someone insinuated to her Layman may have engaged in sexual activity outside of wedlock,” according to The Oregonian.

The Portland Rescue Mission is faith based and a spokeswoman tells the paper its aware of Layman’s complaint, says her position was terminated and it did not have to do with her future plans for a family.

We asked you what you think about this on our KXL Facebook page. Nancy says “people lie; who knows?” Luis says “was she really? So if she was, who cares?” Dustin says ” I thought Christianity was about not judging.”
