Multnomah Falls, Oregon – A man visiting from Florida was found early this morning on a trail at Multnomah Falls.  52 year old Robert Bruce Gwinn had stopped  to take pictures Tuesday afternoon, lost track of time and when it got dark, he realized he was lost. Gwinn used his cellphone to call for help. Searchers were able to  narrow down the search area from the partial ping from his cellphone call.

Gwinn is a little cold and thirtsy, but otherwise in good shape. He wasn’t carrying any equipment other than a walking stick. He say he’s very grateful to  rescuers. “I was starting to wonder if i was going to die.”

A member of the rescue team had a medical emergency during the search and was taken to the hospital for treatment and is in critical condition.
