Aloha, Ore. –Police chased a suspected burglar into a tree Saturday afternoon. 46-year-old Bret Davis of Hillsboro allegedly broke into a home on SW Pheasant Drive in Aloha. Sgt. Vance Stimler says the suspect injured the homeowner, then fled when police arrived. About IMG_0313.JPGa mile away, police found him hiding in a tree.

“Despite many attempts to ask him to come down or order him down from the tree, he refused. At some point he kept climbing higher and higher in the tree.”

Davis fell forty feet to the ground. He was then arrested and taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
