VANCOUVER — Main Street Marijuana opened its doors on Wednesday morning with over one hundred people lining up in front of the store and halfway around the block. Customers say they had to be there for the experience.
“It reminds me of Christmas,” said owner Chris Stipe.
The prices are much higher than on the street. Still, people were prepared to pay up to $25 per gram. That usually goes for about $10 on the black market. They say they’re willing to pay that price to be part of history.
The store had only ten pounds of pot to sell and customers had to present legal ID.
