A woman who owns two natural pet food stores in Washington state is eating pet food, three meals a day, for a month.
Dorothy Hunter says she’s in her third week of pet food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Hunter says she’s not encouraging humans to eat dog or cat food. Her purpose is to show that natural pet foods are nutritious. And that many contain the same kind of top-grade beef delivered to restaurants.
Hunter believes government won’t allow natural pet food companies to list nutrition contents on labels because that might prompt humans to eat it, something that Hunter does not encourage. She plans to end her one month pet food experiment July 19th.
For breakfast today, Hunter said she had “Grandma Lucy’s Artisan Chicken.” Hunter said, “It’s good. It has garlic in it.”
