Artist Sketch of Explosion Suspect Released

HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Washington County Sheriff’s Department has released a sketch  of the young man it thinks is connected to three  explosions since Friday, June 20th.  The first explosion of a homemade device  took place in a mailbox on Southwest Davis Road in the evening.  The next one happened Saturday around 12:30  at a porta-potty  at a softball field in Aloha during a tournament.

KariKaye Finch was using the facility at the time.  She was taken to Tualaity Community Hospital .  Her injuries were not life-threatening she  required stitches in the back of the head.  the last of three explosions happened about 3:45 in the afternoon just down the street from the International School of Beaverton.

The suspect the sheriff’s department is looking for is described as  15 – 19 years old 5’7″ tall 140-150 pounds.  He has Brown eyes and short Black hair.  He may have been wearing Khaki shorts and carrying a black backpack.  Investigators ask anyone with information about the explosions to call the county’s non-emergency dispatch number at 503-629-0111 and ask to speak to an on-duty deputy.
