VANCOUVER — A 19-year-old lost control of the Honda Accord that he was driving and plowed right through a house on Southeast Blairmont Drive Wednesday morning into three bedrooms, leaving some big holes.
Luckily, there was nobody home. The mother and daughter who live there are in Paris on vacation.
“I’m so glad my sister and niece weren’t here. This is frightening,” said Teresa Mosley, the homeowner’s sister.
The vehicle was towed out of the home and the teen was taken to the hospital.
The driver was going southbound on Parkcrest Avenue and ran the intersection. Police say he was speeding and under the influence of Spice, also known as synthetic marijuana.
Two bedrooms were completely demolished and the contents were scattered across the front lawn.
This was the second crash involving a driver high on the synthetic drug in the past week in Vancouver.
