A new state by state, county by county, analysis shows stark contrast in health insurance premiums before and after the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) kicked in.
The research was done by the Manhattan Institute. A check of the figures for Multnomah County shows a 27-year old man is paying 49% more in premiums compared with last year. In Clark County it is 68% more than last year. Increases for women’s premiums in both counties were not as high compared with men.
