VANCOUVER — An early morning fire at the Sun Point Apartment complex in East Vancouver has destroyed six units. People living in units nearby had to be evacuated after the fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. this morning.

The fire burned hot and fast, melting insulation and causing chimneys to lean. It appears everyone managed to get out okay.  One of the tenants works nights and the apartment manager is trying to verify he was on the job and not at home when the fire started.

was so thankful no one got hurt and I am sure they will find the missing man was at work. Really scarey and the fire dept. worked so hard to get it out before it spread to other bldgs.
