Fox News Anchor Bret Baier Talks About A Special Heart

Fox News Anchor Bret Baier has a story that sounds very similar to the story of the Ferretti Family.  In October of 2008, my wife Sandi and I celebrated the birth of our first child. Lilliann was born after a perfect pregnancy and we were excited to be first time parents. On the second day of her life, my little girl turned our lives upside down.

After days and days of poking, prodding and endless tests, doctors discovered Lilliann has a Complex Congenital Heart Defect and would die within days without open heart surgery.

While my story sounds uncommon, it’s not. This is the reality for 1 in every 100 children born. One of those kids is Fox News Anchor Bret Baier’s first born Paul.

Bret has written a new book called Special Heart “A Journey of Faith, Hope, Courage and Love”. It’s a the story of Paul’s birth, surgeries and life along with several life lessons all parents can use.

100% of the proceeds from sales of the book will go to fund pediatric heart research.

Special Heart is available at Amazon.com, Barns&Noble and several other outlets.
