Rocks Thrown at Portland Police Cars

Written by Jeremy Scott on June 4, 2014

PORTLAND — Twice in three days, somebody has taken out their aggression on Portland Police officers, throwing rocks at patrol cars in Southeast.

Neighbors called early Wednesday morning saying a man who appeared be high and drunk was standing in the street on 115th Avenue near Division throwing things and pacing back and forth.  25-year-old Milo Leon was arrested when he threw a chunk of granite at a sergeant’s police car, cracking the windshield.  Meth was found on him before he was taken to jail.

Early Sunday morning, an officer was hit in the forehead by a rock and cut while on patrol at 87th and Clinton.  That person was not found and it’s unknown if the incidents are related.
