PORTLAND — Firefighters had quite the fight on their hands for much of the morning on Wednesday when a vacant home near Northeast 148th and Graham went up in flames and spread to two other homes.
A neighbor heard glass breaking and saw the fire next door was spreading to her home as she called 911 just after 2:00.
The residents of the home where the fire started moved out last week. Everyone in the two other homes got out safely. A family of four was forced to stay elsewhere because of heavy damage to the attic.
