Alaska Airlines filed today for permission to begin non-stop seasonal flights between Portland and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico starting in November.  Alaska also filed for non-stops from PDX to Los Cabos, starting in November.

The airline says it could take up to one month for the U.S. Department of Transportation to approve the new service.   It’s been five-years since Portland had non-stops to Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.
