Salem,Ore.– The FBI wants to know what was happening at Cover Oregon as the Website was failing.

Tuesday afternoon the Governor’s officer released subpoenas from the FBI seeking information from Cover Oregon and the Oregon Health Authority. The investigation is demanding communications regarding the failed website and how federal money was spent. Dennis Richardson who is hoping to be Oregon’s next Governor in November told KXL, he’s happy the FBI is taking this seriously.

“I’m pleased the FBI is taking the waste of 250 million dollars of our taxpayers money seriously. I’m also pleased that they are willing to get to the bottom of this outrageous waste of tax payer money.”

The governors office tells the Oregonian they will cooperate with the subpoenas and the Governor sees the investigation as an important step to get answers but he has no reason to believe any public employee did anything illegal.
