For the second time in five-years Portland ranks number one in driver courtesy.
Autovantage, a national towing and road service chain, surveyed drivers in 25-major cities. Group VP Robert DiPietro says they were asked about things they do and don’t do driving to and from work.
Based on those responses, Portlanders were least likely to honk the horn at another driver. They were also least likely to speed, and least likely to have seen other drivers cutting between lanes without warning.
Dipietro says at least 100-people per city were surveyed, with at least 39-questions.
Portland came out on top in a previous driver courtesy survey in 2009. In this latest survey, the city with the least courteous drivers is Houston.
