Tornadoes Cut a Swath Through the South

Written by Rosemary Reynolds on April 29, 2014

Vicious tornadoes continue to ravage the South killing 12 so far.  Other parts of the country could be affected by the violent weather but people are stepping in to help. Mississippi and Alabama will get the brunt of the severe weather activity today. People everywhere need help  one group formed in 2011 called operation BBQ they go to these devastated areas and feed families.

Since the Joplin tornadoes three years ago the group has provided over half a million meals. Don’t think tornadoes are always in the mid west and the south…. Remember the Aumsville tornado and this past Sunday a tornado packing 75 mile and our winds touched down for a minute

The red cross has also developed an app that will notify you if an alert gets released, even when the app isn’t actively open. In Eatonville Washington fortunately  nobody was hurt.
