Military Jury Finds Marine Guilty of Killing a Portland Woman

Portland ,Oregon   Marine Master Sgt. Nathan Cosby was found guilty by a military jury Thursday.  Ivanice Harris was on a  29th birthday  celebration trip with her boyfriend to Hawaii last year when she disappeared.  Ivy was known as an escort and her boyfriend happened to be her pimp.  The woman was last seen in front of a Waikiki bar at 2 in the morning.  She was standing outside talking with a man.  Family and friends here worried for her safety.  A Candlelight Vigil was held hundreds attended praying for her safe return.

Eventually Master Sgt. Cosby confessed to the murder.  Ivy’s body was recovered 40 miles away from where she was last seen in a remote area on Oauhu .  Cosby could be sentenced to life without parole.  Sentencing will take place tomorrow.
