Bomb Scare Over at OHSU

Portland, Ore. — Access to OHSU has reopened after Portland Police determined that a suspicious device was not explosive.

Police responded to the university hospital around 10:45 a.m. after reports came in of a person carrying a pipe bomb. Certain areas of the hospital were closed. Trimet and ambulances were diverted.

The person believed to have brought the device into the hospital has been detained and is being questioned.
