Work Begins On POW/MIA Memorial In Clark County

Vancouver, Washington – Groundbreaking was held today in Vancouver on a memorial for  prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action. The memorial will be located outside the  Armed Forces Reserve Center on NE 65th St.

The Community Military Appreciation Committee raised $20,000 to build the memorial and will sell bricks for $100 dollars each to honor someone in the military. The memorial will be dedicated on  September 27th, which is  National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
