SEASIDE, Ore.- A 40-foot gray whale has washed up on the beach in Seaside.
Visitors describe the carcass as “very nasty” smelling and officials warn visitors to not let their pets go near the whale. Scientists say it appears the whale has been dead for some time.
The city of Seaside plans to bury it using heavy equipment and excavators after biologists take there samples.
