PORTLAND — It’s the second Tuesday of April, over 60 degrees outside and also Spring Break week in Washington. That’s drawing big crowds to the Oregon Zoo.
Admission prices are slashed to $4 on the second Tuesday of every month to encourage people to visit who might not otherwise. Families are encouraged and children two and under get in free.
We showed up before noon and found that the parking lot was already full. If you’re thinking about taking in the sights, Max is encouraged. In fact, those who ride public transit and show their tickets will get an additional $1.50 off admission.
The zoo is open until 4:00pm.
