Man Arrested In Albany Road Rage Speaks Out

Written by Christina Kemp on April 1, 2014

Portland, Ore. – Its a classic he said she said story. Today the driver from yesterdays road rage incident is telling his version of events.

He takes responsibility for what he’s been charged with but he says the teens involved in this case should share in some of that responsibility. 45-year-old Robert Ramsey spoke to our news partner KGW he wants people to know that he felt provoked.

“If I’m this crazy teen beater why would I have not targeted the driver cause in my eyes the driver is fully responsible for this whole incident. She was the one behind the wheel, she was the one driving erratically, she chose to follow me and to tail gate me”, Ramsey says.

After the teens tapped the trailer of his truck he decided to get out. Something he now says he should not have done. He was arrested this morning for assault and other charges.
