Wanna take on Godzilla? You CAN…thanks to a Eugene company that’s just created a Godzilla video game. Your epic battle will sound something like this.
Paperworks has just released a trailer of its new video game on YouTube. The game itself won’t be available until May when the new Godzilla movie opens. Vince Porter at the Oregon Film and Video Office says the Godzilla game is getting some help from their incentives program which recently expanded to include game production companies.
Godzilla will be available on both IOS and Android platforms.
Audiences have been raving about the potential of the new film. A new script that focuses on the South Pacific and the cast helmed by leading man Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad fame. The film will add a “very compelling human drama” and Godzilla is said to be tied to a “different contemporary issue” rather than the original atomic bomb testing.
Its a bit of a new spin as Actress Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011)) described the film as “definitely not lighthearted. It’s kind of going back to its roots of the original Japanese film” and that “there’s a strong theme of the importance of family, as well as the theme of trying to control nature, and how that backfires in the end.”
