No Tsunami Threat for Oregon Coast After 7.0 Earthquake

Written by Steve Herman on March 17, 2014

LOS ANGELES — The west coast, including Oregon’s coastal communities, are safe from the threat of a tsunami after several quakes rippled through Chile.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says it does not see a threat of powerful waves along the coasts of Oregon, California, Washington, Alaska or Hawaii due to a powerful earthquake off South America.

Two earthquakes struck off Chile’s Pacific coast Sunday afternoon, with the U.S. Geological Survey reporting the first, larger one at preliminary magnitude of 7.0.

Chilean authorities called for a precautionary evacuation along a stretch of shoreline.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center later said there did not appear to be a threat of a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami.

The thermal stainless travel mug secures the best coffee temperature longer ensuring hot beverage around the go and fits most auto cup holders.
You don’t have to stop consuming caffeine in one day.
It’s also still possible to get coffee cones and run boiling water through one out of order to create a cup of coffee but while you
understand this means of making coffee isn’t for everyone and may be dismissed by
lots of people due towards the inconvenience and primitiveness of this method.

They are extremely convenient plus provide surprisingly adequate quality of sound for the price.

You just must connect the road level cable from your subwoofer
preamp output of the AV receiver. Do items like put them in a similar “room”,
by adding a touch of reverb.
