Killers Cop Plea in Death of 14-year-old

Written by Mike Turner on March 10, 2014

The two men who shot and killed a 14 year old nearly 3 years ago were sentenced to prison in a Multnomah County courtroom. Jimmie Ray Sanders-Garcia and Edward Mohr fired multiple times at Shiloh Hampton and friends near the Lloyd Center.

Both changed their pleas to guilty giving Sanders-Garcia 15 years in prison while Mohr got 20 years. Shiloh’s grandma and foster dad were looking for apologies. Sanders-Garcia said he was sorry but there was nothing from Mohr.

Both men could have received life if the case had gone to trial.
