Written by Jeremy Scott on March 6, 2014

KEIZER, Ore. — Two 17-year-old’s are accused of shooting the parents of one of the boys at their home, killing his mother and wounding his dad before taking off.

An alarm sent officers to the house on Ventura Loop North late Wednesday night where they found 44-year-old Michelle Pearson dead and her husband, 57-year-old Wilfred “Bill” Pearson wounded in need of immediate aid.  He’s said to be in serious condition, but is expected to survive.

“The alarm company ended up calling back the person inside the home to confirm and that individual told them he had been shot,” said Deputy Chief Jeff Kuhns.

The couple’s son took off with a friend in a car.  Police found Brett Pearson driving on River Road about an hour and a half later and arrested him.  Robert Miller II checked into a hotel in Salem where he was cuffed.
