Roll-Over Crash Closes I-5 Downtown

Written by Jeremy Scott on March 5, 2014

PORTLAND — The northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in the heart of downtown were closed for nearly an hour early Wednesday afternoon after a roll-over crash between the Morrison and Burnside bridges.

One woman was reportedly rescued from the wreckage.  Traffic backed up for miles in all directions.  The crash was cleared by 2:00.

The lady driving was Angus. She was rear ended, and hurt severely, as well as her dog. They are doing a fund raiser for her at the Morrison bar a fund raiser for her tonight at the Morrison bar and grill . I believe 13th and Morrison. Angus still can’t go back to work, as the accident broke several vertebrae and she just had 250 staples removed from her scalp. $1 raffle tickets for prizes…including an IPAD. She sure could use some help, as who knows how long insurance is going to drag this out.
